Emma's Tubes

Emma got tubes in her ears at the end of November. She had 10 or 11 ear infections within the last 12 months, so we decided it was time. It's an easy procedure, but they had to put her to sleep in order to do it. "Can't hit a moving target," as the doctor kept telling us. She did fabulously! She only took 7-8 breaths of the anesthesia and the doctor was back with us 4 minutes after they started. Immediately after she was SOOO giddy! She was bouncing off the walls, hilarious, and laughing nonstop. Everything looks good now!
The night before mom and I took her out to dinner…
they got a special drink (a Shirley Temple)…
We had to wake up early, but she was happy…
Vanderbilt Children's is set up for kids! She had a blast…
Laying in bed in her pretty pjs for the two minutes she actually laid there…
They gave her this car to drive around while there…

We took her to get pancakes after. She was so happy and crazy.
Thankful that everything went so smoothly!
