Cousins Wedding

Emma and I went on a little outing to my cousins wedding last weekend. It was fun to get away with just her. She's usually overshadowed by Samuel's performances. However, she does have a way of demanding attention when needed. She was a great little baby most of the time. The flight back made me swear I will never again fly with a 9 month old... thankfully she's only 9 months old for another week. But, it was a great trip. Quick, but good to see extended family we hadn't seen in a very long while and to vacation with the Pfamily and Wei Chi. Some pics...

Uncle Chris...
Bro and Sis, just as goofy as ever...
 All dressed up...

We had some fun with awkward poses...

The Pfam...
Fun times, fun times... By the way, Lauren and Mom, I Love this one of you both!

The little princess...
... and the new little princess...

Getting sleepy at the reception...

Wei Chi had the perfect touch...

Dancing with the Grands...
Silly girl in her bed, which she hogged all night long, and then fell out of (don't worry she was fine... there were many pillows piled up protecting her from just such a scenario)

The good flight there, where we got a WHOLE ROW to ourselves...
Not, so much space on the way back, where we were stuffed in the very back row, window seat (although there was no window), with people who refused to switch seats, screaming baby, pushing on seats, diving into neighbors laps, squeezing applesauce all over everything, and not sleeping. My sister had a theory that they always put the babies in the back... this has frequently been the case when I fly with the kids. Anyone else have this experience?

Soccer Game #1

After the "success" of soccer camp, we decided to enroll Sam in a soccer league. Last Saturday was Sam's first game. They have 20 minutes of practice, 10 minutes of snack, then a game. There are 7 boys on his team and 4 of them refused to play in the game, so Sam played the whole game. Well, he was on the field the whole time... on the opposite end of the field, looking at the grass, no where close to the ball. He is well set up for earning the award of "most improved" because he can only improve from here! :)

Practice time...

Aunt Alyssa's here... Emma loved it!

 Practice goal...
The game... Sam is on the far right, not looking at the ball.

Sam's favorite part... High fives with the other team after the game.
I'm sure there will be more pictures to come as we have six more weeks of this season!

First day of Preschool

Samuel started three year old preschool last week. He goes two days a week, mornings only. He has enjoyed it so far, although he had a hard time with Mommy leaving the second day. It's fun to try to interpret what he did when he comes home. He talks on and on about it, but I can't understand half of what he says. :)

First day pic...
Waiting for the doors to open, he put his leg up like this without any prompting :)
He has two friends in his class...

Have no fear, there is a trash truck in his classroom, so he is a happy camper. :)

"Sam and Emma being Funny"

Sam always wants me to "take a video of Sam and Emma being funny." I love baby laughs! So, I obliged today. Sorry, I had to crop Sam out to avoid showing anything inappropriate. These two are such good buddies these days.

9 Month Pictures

Some of my favorites of my girl at 9 months old...

My absolute favorite...

 Daddy's girl!!!

Random Pictures

First sippy cup...
Brother had to get in on the picture taking action...
 Pure joy!!
Sitting up when I went to get her...
Helping Papa with the neighbor's patio...
 Banana nose...

This is how I vacuum. Samuel "protects" Emma from the scary vacuum. Although, she could care less about the noise. :)
 Helping out...
 Messy eater...
 Samuel loves Emma's toys too...
Even Superheros have to clean up after themselves...
