After the "success" of soccer camp, we decided to enroll Sam in a soccer league. Last Saturday was Sam's first game. They have 20 minutes of practice, 10 minutes of snack, then a game. There are 7 boys on his team and 4 of them refused to play in the game, so Sam played the whole game. Well, he was on the field the whole time... on the opposite end of the field, looking at the grass, no where close to the ball. He is well set up for earning the award of "most improved" because he can only improve from here! :)

How fun! I would expect girls to want to sit out the game, but not boys. Good job Sam for being the brave one! Wish we lived closer so we could come watch.
Looks like he was having a good time, even if he wasn't completely involved in the game. Glad to see Alyssa made it!
Too cute! I can't believe he's old enough to be enrolled in sports leagues. Love it!
