More ATL

While in ATL we got to spend a few hours at Legoland discovery center. We sure missed papa on our outings, but he would have hated this place. I wasn't too pleased myself. Apparently we went on a day with tons of large camp/day care groups. It was chaos, in a very tight space, with little adult supervision. But I could see that it could have been fun had we had the place to ourselves or nearly to ourselves. :) The kids had fun eventually and didn't want to leave by the end so it was worth it. 

Samuels favorite part was miniland, especially the football and baseball stadiums all made out of Legos, many with moving parts. 

Emma had no fear at the Fire Academy and climbed straight to the top, with bug kids knocking her all over the place. I had a hard time watching from behind the partition, but she wasn't phased at all. It looks like she's crying, but that was just her "cheese" face. 

This toddler area was a good level for us. Emma was building a library and Samuel a stadium of some sort.

We had horrible weather for outside play, so our plans to swim all day and go to a braves game didn't work out. But we didn't let the rain stop us from enjoying the pool. The kids thought it was funny to swim in the rain. 

We were glad to be able to tag along with papa and hope to do it again sometime. I only wish that papa hadn't had to work! :) We also got to see some college friends for a minute, but sadly didn't get any pictures. It was a full trip and we all came home exhausted.
