9 Months Old!

Baby girl makes people smile everywhere we go. She is a very sweet baby and her smile is contagious. Lily at 9 months… 

- She has 8 teeth. Most in the past few weeks. 

- She is moving towards feeding herself but not quite as enthusiastically as big sister. Peas, puffs, peaches, and bananas are her favorites. But she still lets me feed her to get a more balanced diet, unlike Emma at this age. 

- She nurses 4 times a day and eats 3 meals. 

- She sleeps 7-7 and takes 2-3 naps a day. More often 2 now, but occasionally she still needs a little catnap in the early evening. 

- She gets around, but doesn't officially crawl. She scoots in a sitting position. It's pretty slow at this point (which is great), but she can go far if left to herself. 

- She grinds her teeth. It's the most horrible sound ever. Anyone else have a baby do this? Any advice? 

- She claps and waves. 

- She loves the water! Bathtub, splash park, or swimming pool she splashes and kicks like she's swimming. 

- She giggles and smiles a lot. Especially when big brother and sister are around. She loves to watch them and play with them and craves any attention they will give her. Emma and Sam enjoy her too and get excited when she accomplishes new milestones or does something funny.
