Baby girl is getting so big!
- She has had quite a time with her teeth this past month. But, now all of the front 8 have popped through, so I'm hoping we are done with that for a while. She had 5 or 6 come in at the same time, so it had to be uncomfortable... and she let us know she didn't like it. :)
- She is waving and clapping... kind of. :) I'm not sure if she's doing this on command yet or just coincidently when we ask her to do it.
- This girl can get around! She scooted backwards all the way around the coffee table the other day. She can roll many times to get across the room. And, sometimes I see her scooting in a sitting position. She's starting to dive forward to reach a toy, but is not quite crawling yet. She even gets up on her toes in a "downward dog" yoga position sometimes.
- It is beginning to be unusual for her to be up in the middle of the night now. And, she's getting pretty settled into a two nap day. Occasionally she'll take an evening nap, but only if we are in the car.
- She eats 3 solid food meals a day and nurses 5 times a day. It's a challenge to get all 5 feedings in, but sleep is better if we do it that way so we try.
She is such a happy baby and grabs the attention of everyone around us. She loves to chat and smile with anyone who will listen. Happy 8 months Emma Jean!
