These are in the complete reverse order from what I wanted, but I'm not switching them. You could probably read from the bottom up. Although, it doesn't really mater. My birthday girl was a trooper on her party day. She skipped morning nap and was definitely dragging by the time everyone left, but she rose to the occasion, smashed that cake like a pro, and reacted perfectly to each and every gift.
By the end of the gift opening, she was ready for some snuggle time...
Climbing is one of Emma's favorite activities, so this was perfect...
If anyone is looking for a one year old gift, a jack in the box is ideal. Emma was slightly scared of it, but giggled hysterically when Winnie the Pooh jumped out. She would snuggle close to us as she anticipated the pop and then laugh as he popped out. Sam loves this toy too.
She really loves her jogging stroller, despite the look on her face. It tipped backwards as she pushed it, so we had Sam sit in it to weigh it down. This was the best picture, because the second she saw it she scurried away with it into the darker hallway, thus no good pictures.
Her friends helped her open her gifts at her party...
All the one year olds who could come...
It took a lot to get that picture... This is a more realistic perspective of these four right now.
And the smash cake... She liked it.
She shared some with Gigi...
Brother and his friends were a little jealous of Emma's big cake, but enjoyed their cupcakes none the less...
