Thanksgiving

We spent Thanksgiving in Denver this year and had a wonderful time exploring Grandma and Grandpa's home town. Denver is a fun place to visit and we look forward to many more trips out there in the future.

My attempt at a picture of my loves in their matching church clothes. All three of them sneezed as soon as we stepped out because of the bright sunshine. I caught Sam in the middle of his sneeze. :)

We got to ride the train into the city. They both loved the train and Samuel liked seeing all the Broncos fans on the way to the game. There were so many shirts with numbers on them, he was in heaven (Samuel will still only wear shirts with numbers on them, if given a choice).

Although Emma has never taken a pacifier, she loves to pretend to be a baby with the pacifier. I'm afraid if she keeps playing with it, she will become attached at 2 years old. :)
This particular nap, Emma decided she needed to do some reading before falling asleep. She cleared an entire shelf of books that was within reach of her crib.
Samuel and Emma both helped make fruit salad. Samuel that he was pretty big getting to use a real knife!

We entertained the kids by running the halls, reading books, and exploring the exercise room at Grandma and Grandpa's apartment.

Emma got to celebrate her birthday with Grandma and Grandpa…
There are so many parks and playgrounds around, this was a particularly fun piece of playground equipment…
We are so glad that we got to see Grandma and Grandpa and see some Denver sites. I've got several more pictures of our adventures out there, coming soon in a few other posts. :)
