Creative Discovery Museum

Our *free tour of children's museums has come to an end. Our membership ran out and since we don't have one locally, we won't probably renew, but we had one last stop before it expired. Mom and I took the kids out to Chattanooga to explore on MLK day since Sam had off school and Bud an Dad were traveling for work. The museum did not disappoint and the kids had a blast, even playing through nap time.

We stopped at Taco Mac to eat some of my favorite queso… it was as good as I remembered it from my college days there. The kids were entertained with Gigi letting them tackle her… they were a little hyped up after sitting in the car all morning.
 Lots of climbing…

Samuel discovered that he is more of a sound/lights kind of guy…
While Emma is more of a performer…
 … no surprise there.
Although they both loved the musical instruments…

Emma took good care of the babies…
… and Samuel learned how pulleys work by pulling himself up on this chair.
A view of the great city of Chattanooga…

We got to stay in a hotel with a pool. Emma loved bubbles with Gigi…
… and swimming with mommy.
While this guy would rather watch from the side or just sit on the steps…
We also got to meet up with my old college roommate and meet her two precious children for dinner. These two where a match made in heaven…
It would have been a much nicer trip had Emma not thrown up in the hotel room in the middle of the night, but we survived and were very grateful to get home in time for everyone to nap the next day.
