Warning: Picture Overload! :)
We went to Florida last weekend to introduce Emma to all the Great Grandparents and to visit, as it had been far too long since we had been there. It was so good to see everyone again and have a mini vacation as a family. Emma had an ear infection, had a tooth come through, and was just out of sorts being away from home. So, she was a little grumpy, but still offered some smiles and snuggles. Overall, we had a great time... visiting with all the Great Grandparents on the Lutz side and a few sets of Aunts, Uncles, and cousins, swimming in the cold swimming pool, a day at the beach, and playing lots of organ. Beach pictures coming soon... there were a lot of them, so they get their own post.
We love the play area in the Philadelphia airport. In fact, we got there early just so we would have time to play there.
Right before we got yelled at for sitting on here...
Ready for the sun! Aren't Emma's sunglasses the cutest?!
Samuel tells everyone when asked about his trip to Florida, "She (Grandma) had a swimming pool and an organ there!" The organ was a dream come true for my little musicians...
Testing the waters... brrr!
Basking in the sun...
My little Stevie Wonder... He loved his sunglasses and refused to take them off, even inside.
You should be happy I narrowed it down to only 3 organ pictures. I took a lot :)
The cold swimming pool with Papa, notice Mommy was not in the pool. I put my feet in one day while holding Emma on the steps to splash, but that's as far as I went in. Samuel jumped in over and over again and did a great job swimming. Emma loved to splash, but didn't want to stay in too long and of course I got no pictures of her in the water because my hands were glued to her the whole time we were out there.
Grandma Emma and little Emma...
Helping Emma put chap stick on...
Fun times with Uncle Ted...
Notice we couldn't get very many pictures of Emma without a bottle in her mouth. :)
Finally, a smile!!
The drive to the Lutz's... He looked so big and focused coloring like this.
The perfect little cove for Emma to read a book in...
We spent a bit of time sitting at the table, reading, eating, and chatting about anything and everything...
A leftover from the Lutz's time in Arkansas... Woo Pig Sooie! (I can't believe I just said that :))
The steps were also a blast. We spent a lot of time guarding Emma as she explored the steps...
Samuel asked everyone, especially grandpa, LOTS of questions. "What comes after 72? What is your address? Where are we going after Florida? Where are we going after my nap? Where are we going tomorrow? etc, etc, etc."
The kids got lots of "special treats" on the airplane.. anything to keep them from annoying the people around us. We only managed to annoy the other passengers for 1.5 hours on the way to Florida and 1 hour on the way home. Improvement!
