Aunt Alyssa's Visit

Aunt Alyssa came to see us! Yay! Or, "Aunt Wynnsa" as Sam calls her. Alyssa has been in Kenya for the past two years, but has spent the last two weeks with us. It was so good to see her again and introduce her to my little princess. She actually got to spend two whole weeks living with us! Samuel loved having someone else around to play church with and Emma loved having another set of hands to meet her every demand. I loved spending time with her and being here to talk about all the exciting things going on in her life during those two weeks. She was accepted by World Harvest Missions (WHM) as part of a team to start serving as medical missionaries in Burundi Africa in 2013! WHM office happens to be 10 minutes down the road from us, so we were able to house her during her interviews and orientation. So, now that she was accepted, she has begun raising support. If you are interested in hearing more about what she will be doing in Burundi or in supporting her financially, let me know or check out her blog and contact her!
