Father's Day

Sam and Emma are so blessed to have such a loving, playful Papa and two wonderful Grandpas. We love the men in our lives very much!! To celebrate the big day Papa got to sleep in Saturday and Sunday, we cooked a fancy steak dinner after the kids were in bed, and Papa got to have a very golf centered weekend... played golf Thursday, attended the U.S. Open on Friday, and took us all to play mini golf on Saturday. I wasn't sure if Sam would stay interested through all 18 holes, but he loved it and was sad to see it end. I think we will be doing this again very soon.

Emma helped Papa...
Samuel was really good. We helped him with the first shot, he would then pick up the ball and bring it closer to the hole, then hit it over and over again until it went in. He was very persistent and focused...
Then, he cheered "Yeah... like golf" (apparently, that's how they cheer in golf).
They had a toddler sized club at the driving range, so we found a few random balls to hit.
Sam also shaved with Papa...
