- She is sitting up pretty well. I still put pillows around her in case she falls, but she's pretty good about letting herself down slowly.
- When I lay her down on her back she holds her head up like she's doing crunches for a while before rolling over or relaxing on her back. She has some really strong abs!
- She is a very inconsistant sleeper. She goes down between 7 and 8 depending on when she wakes from her last nap. She usually wakes up sometime between 3 and 6 and then sleeps till somewhere between 7 and 9:45. I think this is a glimpse into her personality. She is a free spirit and can't be bound by a silly schedule.
- Naps are just as inconsistent. Sometimes she'll sleep for 45 minutes and be done, other times for 3 hours. We are still going back and forth between 2 and 3 naps a day.
- She would rather play with Buzz lightyear than any of her toys.
- That pesky tooth finally popped through yesterday! Yay!
- We stopped using the swaddle blanket completely (we were just putting it around her legs and waist). Now that her legs are free, she can maneuver all over her crib. She spins circles, scoots up and down. Right now, I can't even see her on the video monitor because she has rolled out of view.
- We've had some issues with her feedings. She threw up the rice cereal (major throw up... projectile, dry heaving, etc). After a few episodes of that, we moved on to oatmeal. She doesn't seem to be have a problem with that, but is not a fan. So, we tried avocado. So far, she seems to like it and is eating it almost every day. I'll probably try the rice again sometime, but we'll wait a while on that to rule out an allergy.
Now for the out takes...
Also, check out her cute outfit from Aunt Alyssa. Sent all the way from Africa. She loves to chew on the bows and tug the elephant's ear. Thanks Alyssa.
